Scottie Scheffler New No. 1 of the Golf

Through the success in the US state of Texas, he released the Spaniard Jon Rahm as a number one in the world. “In my dreams, I have never come so far,” Scheffler said the tears after victory. “I love to play golf. I love to measure me. I am happy to be here.”

Scheffler is according to the news agency AP of the sixth-youngest player as number one in the world since the introduction of the ranking 1986. He looked forward to success in the presence of friends and family, said Scheffler. “I do not feel like the number one in the world. I feel like the guy four months ago and I hope that does not change.”

Rahm had lost his duel with Brooks Koepka in the fourth round. The PGA tournament does not count the total number of all strokes for the victory over four days, but the success in the final K.-O.-duels. Only the 64 best golfers in the world take part.

Last year, Scheffler had lost the finale in Texas. For weeks he is now in a bear-strong form. “I do not know if anyone plays better than he,” said the inferior Kisner. Scheffler had recently recovered the Phoenix Open and the Arnold Palmer invitational.
