God of War PC version appears in early January 2022
Steam (pronounced [(e) Stim]) is a digital video game distribution platform developed by Valve Corporation. It was launched in September 2003 as a way to value automatic updates to their games, but finally expanded to include games that are not valve but from third parties. Steam offers protection against piracy, pairing servers, video transmissions and social networking services. It also provides the user with the installation and automatic update of games and community features such as groups and lists of friends, saved in the cloud, voice in the game and chat functionality.
It is used both by small independent developers and large software corporations for the distribution of videogames and related multimedia material.
In order to enjoy all these services, it is necessary to be registered in the service by creating a free account, which linked video games purchased by the player. These games can be both the games that are offered for the purchase on the platform itself as certain games purchased in physical stores.
The PC version of God of War will be published on January 14, 2022 via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The Action Adventure of Santa Monica Studio and PlayStation (mobile) will be published for 49.99 euros.
